WISTA Australia invites you to join us for the WISTA Australia AGM on Thursday 24 September 2026, happening simultaneously across all states. This AGM is not only an opportunity to discuss important matters but also a chance to connect, learn, and celebrate together as a vibrant community.

We will be holding the AGM as a hybrid online and in person event. Join us in Launceston at the AMC for the AGM proceedings, followed by a river cruise onboard the Lady Launceston into the renowned Cataract Gorge!

Event Program: 

AGM proceedings: open to members and associate members only

• Please arrive by 2:45pm at AMC Reception (main Swanson Building) to sign in for a 3:00pm start
• Meeting will be held in the AMC Board Room, Swanson Building, first floor
  

• Parking can be found directly outside the building

Post-AGM Event: open to all; members and non-members

• 4:15pm: Meet at Tamar River Cruises, Home Point Parade, Launceston
• 4:30pm - 5:30pm:  Cruise the Kanamaluka onboard the Lady Launceston. Nibbles and drinks will be provided. Beer/wine is available for purchase onboard.
  

Ticket cost:

Members & associate members (AGM and Tamar River Cruise): $20

Non-members (Tamar River Cruise only): $40

*Ticket price includes drinks, nibbles and Kanamaluka cruise.
