About the Event

The Sydney Marine Discussion Group (SMDG) and WISTA Australia are pleased to present WaveMakers – Women Leading the Tides in Marine and Shipping.

In celebration of International Women’s Day on 8th March 2026, we aim to honour and recognise women paving the way in the maritime industry.  

This panel event brings together leading women from across the marine, shipping, and logistics sectors to share their career journeys, leadership experiences and insights into navigating the industry. The discussion will be interactive, practical and inspiring, with opportunities for audience participation and networking.

Food and drinks will be provided – please reply to NSW@wistaaustralia.org if any dietary requirements

This event is at nil cost however, due to space restrictions we have limited the number to 80 spots (40 spaces for SMDG members and 40 spaces for WISTA members.
