We are delighted to invite you to the 2025 WISTA Australia AGM - Tasmania, graciously co-hosted by Incat and TasPorts on Friday, 22 August from 12:45pm to 4:30pm.

This unique event offers a wonderful opportunity to meet and network with fellow industry professionals, experience an exclusive look inside Incat's world-leading ship-building facilities, enjoy an educational tour of Hobart's Port Tower guided by a Marine Pilot, and finish off with a wrap up of WISTA's annual activities at the virtual Annual General Meeting (members only).

Event Program

12:45pm | Meet at TasPorts' Port Tower on Hobart's waterfront to catch a bus to Incat shipyard in Derwent Park (leaving at 12:45 sharp!)
1:00pm - 2:15pm | Tour World-Renowned Incat Facilities (and return bus trip)
2:15pm - 3:15pm | Tour TasPorts' Port Tower on Hobart's waterfront
3:15pm - 4:30pm | Afternoon tea and WISTA Australia's AGM (virtual) held at TasPorts' Hobart office, for WISTA members only

Incat Tour

Incat is generously offering an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of their world-leading shipbuilding facilities. Participants will get a firsthand look at the cutting-edge innovation behind Incat’s build of the largest lightweight battery electric ship in the world, while learning about the company’s groundbreaking advancements towards a greener shipping industry.

Safety Requirements for Incat and Port Tower Tour:

• Long trousers (no shorts or skirts)
• Long-sleeved shirt
• Enclosed shoes (no open-toe footwear)

Travel Requirements

This event offers return bus transport from Hobart's Port Tower. Attendees will need to provide their own transport to meeting point. The AGM will be held at TasPorts' Hobart office, approximately 500m from bus drop off.
