Dear WISTA Australia Members,
We are thrilled to invite you to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday, 16th August, happening simultaneously across all states. A formal Notice of AGM will be sent out closer to the date.
We have an exciting day planned, with several activities taking place throughout the day.
9:30AM – 12:00PM AEST: Svitzer Tug Tour (in person)
1:00PM – 2:00PM AEST: Lunch at Wotton + Kearney (in person)
2:00PM – 3:00PM AEST: AGM Proceedings (virtual for all States and in person for QLD)
4:00PM – 8:00PM AEST: Wine Tasting & canapes at City Winery (in person)
Svitzer Tug Tour (in person only):
QLD Members, Associate Members & Friends: Join us for a tug tour and morning tea hosted by Svitzer. Morning tea is included as part of your ticket.
09:30AM – Meet at the loading zone outside 480 Queen Street in Brisbane CBD for bus pickup.
10:00AM – Morning tea at Svitzer office at 20 Howard Smith Drive, Port of Brisbane.
10:30AM – Tug tour.
12:00PM – Bus pickup from Svitzer and return to the loading zone outside 480 Queen Street in Brisbane CBD.
Please note that there is limited parking available at Svitzer and bus transport will be available to and from Svitzer.
Please ensure that you wear closed in footwear, long pants, and a long-sleeved shirt (PPE gear otherwise not required).
Accessibility: Please note that access to certain areas in the tug will involve climbing a steep staircase.
AGM (virtual and in person):
We will be holding the AGM as a hybrid online and in person event. The in-person event will be held at Wotton + Kearney office in Brisbane starting at 1:00PM; lunch will be provided as part of your ticket. The AGM will commence at 2:00PM both online and in person.
Non-members are welcome to attend the lunch and AGM following, but will not be able to vote during the AGM.

Wine tasting (in person only):
QLD Members, Associate Members & Friends: Join us for wine tasting and canapes at City Winery’s Edward Street Cellar Door to unwind after a busy day! Meet us at City Winery at 162 Edward St, Brisbane City at 4:00PM. The cost of attending the wine tasting is included in your ticket.

The cost of the tickets are as follows:
Members: $30
Non-Members: $60
Each ticket includes a 50% donation to the Mission to Seafarers to help them with their invaluable work supporting our seafarers.
