We are thrilled to invite you to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday, 16th August, happening simultaneously across all states. A formal Notice of AGM will be sent out closer to the date.

We have an exciting day planned, with several activities taking place throughout the day. Launceston return transport will be provided.

1030 – 1130 AEST: TasPorts Tug Tour (in person, Beauty Point)

1130 – 1230 AEST: Tour Tasmania’s Seahorse World (in person, Beauty Point)

1330 – 1400 AEST: Catered Lunch (in person, Launceston)

1400 – 1500 AEST: AGM Proceedings (virtual attendance facilitated from TasPorts head office, Launceston)

TasPorts Tug Tour and Seahorse World (in person only):

TAS Members, Associate Members & Friends: Join us for a tug tour hosted by TasPorts, and a visit to Seahorse World in Beauty Point. Return transport will be provided from TasPorts head office in Launceston.

0930 – Meet at TasPorts head office reception at 90-110 Willis St, Launceston for bus pickup.

1030 – Tour TasPorts’ Tamar River Rotor Tugs.

1130 – Tour Tasmania’s Seahorse World.

1230 – Bus return to Launceston.

Please note that there is limited street parking available around TasPorts head office area.

Please ensure that you wear closed in footwear, long pants, and a long-sleeved shirt (PPE gear otherwise not required).

Accessibility: Please note that access to certain areas in the tug will involve climbing a steep staircase.

AGM (virtual and in person):

We will be holding the AGM as a hybrid online and in person event. The in-person Tassie event will dial in from TasPorts’ head office in Launceston, starting at 1330; lunch will be provided as part of your ticket. The AGM will commence at 1400.

Non-members are welcome to attend the lunch and AGM following, but will not be able to vote during the AGM.

The cost of the tickets are as follows:

Members: $20

Non-Members: $40

Maritime/Transport Industry Uni Students: $10 (email anna.macneil@tasports.com.au for code)

Lunch and AGM ONLY (not including tour): $10

Each ticket includes a 50% donation to the Mission to Seafarers to help them with their invaluable work supporting our seafarers.
