Nautical Pottery Party in Launceston, TAS

WISTA Australia invites you to join industry members in getting a little Glazed and Confused in a handbuilding pottery session! Participants will be shown the basics of handbuilding with professional clay in order to produce a functional large vessel (jug, carafe, vase, etc.). There will be an added challenge to see who can build the best "industry-themed" piece - think ships, waves or sea creatures! (Note that it will take 4-6 weeks before pieces are ready to collect after being dried, glazed and fired by the studio technicians. Delivery can be arranged.)

This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with maritime and logistics professionals and students, and to have some fun in a relaxed (but possibly messy) setting.

Nibbles and drinks will be provided.
