Marine Rescue Base Visit & Networking Dinner

The fabulous team at Nautical Institute: Women in Maritime have organised a tour of the Marine Rescue Base located at 67 King Street, Stockton.

The Marine Rescue Site visit will commence at 1615 and conclude at 1730 to allow time to return to Newcastle to Queens Wharf Hotel for those meeting at 1800 for dinner.

All are welcome to attend the Marine Rescue site visit, where we will learn more about the work and operation of Marine Rescue from unit commander Lyn Van Homrigh.

There is the option to drive to Stockton (25-30 mins from Newcastle) or take the 10 minute ferry from Queens Wharf Ferry Terminal.  This will involve an 8-10 minute walk from the Stockton Ferry Terminal alongside the banks of the Hunter to the Marine Rescue Base.

For those wishing to join us by ferry, we will meet at Queens Wharf Ferry Terminal at 1530 for a 1540 departure. For those driving, there is plenty of parking available adjacent to the base.
